i am 53 and marty is my favorite singer of all time. what few movies he made that are on vhs and dvd i have and i have quite a bit of his music. i will never tire of listening to him we miss you marty! God bless.

I Think this is the same as a book put into a movie. Sadly, we lose much.
They have only so much "airtime"..and a good book would take 4hours on the screen..

Air time on radio is often critical when decideng what to play and when, particularly if the news is due on the hour!
I know of 3 different versions of El Paso, and if you listen very carefully you can sometimes hear where it has been edited. The BBC always played a shortened version on a Saturday morning but a record shop will usually give you the original.
